Batch Cooking (Feb. 5/12)

Yes, it was a few hours of pandemonium :P

But, now I have food ready to go for almost the entire week.

That’s the joy of batch cooking :)

On the menu this week: cream of carrot soup, cranberry chicken salad, prime rib roast, and cream-braised Brussels sprouts.

yum!! how do you make your carrot soup??

I’ll post the recipe Friday :) but it’s basically sauteeing onions, leeks, and carrots, then cooking everything in chicken broth. Then you blend the soup and finish off with cream. Stay tuned!
