Your week sounds like it went very well! I see you had a dish calling for “Beef Cheeks”–I have seen this cut at the store and have wondered what it was. Do tell.
Hi Julie. Beef cheeks are just how they sound – a cow’s facial cheek muscles. It can be a tough cut of meat, but braising them should make them very tender. This particular braising recipe had vanilla in it – delicious. I’ll have to remember to post it sometime.
